Former restaurateur, gastronomy is one of the assets of travel!
Greeted at Balmaceda airport, you will be accommodated for the first night or two in the town of Coyhaique, in a Cabana. It is a small comfortable detached house located in a private residence comprising: a living room with kitchen, one to three bedrooms and a bathroom.
On request, you can stay in more luxurious establishments if you wish.
We will then leave to settle at the Rio Norte lodge, lost in a superb isolated valley and located on the edge of a magnificent river populated by numerous brown trout and close to superb fishing grounds. The lodge, with a maximum capacity of 6 people, is made up of 3 double bedrooms with private bathrooms, a living room and a fully equipped kitchen, all with large openings onto the surrounding nature.
For catering, breakfasts are taken in your accommodation, lunch picnics are organized by the rivers (salads, grilled meats, drinks included: beers, Chilean wines, sodas, etc.) and evening meals will be taken in restaurants when we are in Coyhaique and of course at the lodge when you are in Rio Norte.
We will serve you Ceviches of fish, shellfish, grilled beef, lamb asado…always drinks included.
Maybe you'll have the chance to taste real "house-smoked" wild salmon!
